The Lodge and Spa, Piedmont Room

Comments: After eating at the Plant Room Seafood Buffet the night before, this was a disappointment. The service was very slow, despite the fact that it was not crowded The She Crab Soup was excellent, but arrived lukewarm. The chicken was very good, but also just warm and the asparagus was not crisp. The menu stated the Prime Rib would come with mashed potatoes and asparagus, yet all came with oven roasted and brussel sprouts(to the dismay of some of the younger diners) What was great, was the Apple Tart for dessert. Of course, we always have room for that!
