Comments: Take a giant step back to old Florida, in this fabulous landmark in the heart of Safety Harbor. A retrostyle building serves ice cream at a pull up window in the front, glorified by a large painted cow. Wind your way around back to a fabulous patio cafe with tables placed under a cover, on decks and out in the grass, under trees with classic Spanish moss. There are heaters and plastic sides if the weather takes a nose dive. Live entertainment packs them in on the weekend and the schedule can be found at their website www.whistlestopgrill.com. The Southwest Chicken Wrap is great, I suggest subbing the potatoe wedges for the chips and a particular specialty is an array of pies that are sure to bust the diet. Too bad!
