Cafe Alma



Where: 260 1st Av South, Suite 100, St Pete 727-502-5002
What: Indoor Restaurant and Bar
When: Wed- Happy hour all night 2 for 1, Fri and Sat music
Who: A true mixed crowd, younger at the bar, Dress-nice casual
Cost: menu-$10-29, Sat brunch $3-10 and Sunset Menu- $15

Comments: Guys listen- here is a wonderful date place. Ladies- this is not a pickup place, leave your meat market clothes at home. More a couples then a singles local. This has wonderful old world atmosphere. You've got a lot of brick, cozy but noisy when full and a Mediterranean flavor. On Friday there was a 3 person, soft Jazz band. It was packed which made the service slow so expect to spend the time soaking up ambiance and feeding the meter.

I have eaten here @ Cafe Alma many times with friends and family. The food is always wonderfully prepared and tasteful and the service is very good whether sitting on outside patio or inside. I especially like the early bird menu for perfect portions and price...thumbs up!
